Hello Everyone on this cloudy day today. It was actually nice and sunny this morning, but now it is just cloudy. It is 3rd of December so it is time to open door no 3 of my Joik Advent Calendar 2017.   I am not sure if I said it already but I opened all my doors of my advent calendar on the day it was delivered, I dent took out all the products, smelled touched them, quickly judged them lol and tried to put them back in  their original places. So far day one and two had wrong products lol but today I got what I supposed to get:  Raspberry bon bon shower oil  (50ml full size 200ml) and it costs £15.90 on Love Lula website.

Day 3 – Raspberry bon bon shower oil

Shower oil Raspberry Bon Bon has a nice delicate smell that does n0t linger for long. I use face cleansing oils as the first step in my evening skin care routing, but I have never tried a shower oil. I used today for the first time and it did feel very oily, it should not surprise me since it is basically an oil. It left a thin film on my skin.  I am used to clay based sops so I didn’t feel like it cleansed my skin very well.  It didn’t lather or emulsify for me, I should have probable use more of it.

Raspberry bon bon shower oil – Summary

It has a nice smell that has no lasting power. It feels oily on application (it is basically an oil ) it doesn’t later or emulsify. It does leave my skin moisturised but it doesn’t feel like it cleansed my skin well. It just the feeling I get from using it. I normally use soaps. I love clay based soaps and Aleppo soap. I think shower oils are just not for me. Might work great for someone with really dry skin though 🙂
